Architects and builders choose more and more rough surfaces.
Atekra Stone.

With which natural stone we want to finish off the interior of a house? This is the first basic question to which architects and builders have to answer when the need of a new project arises.

From this point onwards starts a long pilgrimage in a vast variety of not only types of stones and shades but also in different finishes.

Last trends point to the use of rough surfaces, far away from the pure shine of a polished marble. This option could be very comfortable for specific places such as worktops of a granite kitchen but not necessarily for the rest of the house.

The kitchen is precisely one of those places that are coming back in the centre of attention as a meeting point for family and friends. It is not just a functional room, it becomes a cosy place. In this context exists a variety of offers that otherwise would be eliminated beforehand.

Another place in which the natural stone is getting a greater relevance is in the bathrooms and not just only for its paving or walls but as well for its fittings. This way bathtubs, sinks and showers are beginning to get a greater importance.

In reality it seems that there is a sort of escape from all very flat surfaces and that is why all constructors and architects tend to choose a natural stone that has previously passed through alternative processes.

Some of these processing are more fit then others depending on its final goal and there is a great range of possibilities. That is why relying on an expert advice is the most suitable option  If we want our project to be successful.
